8+ years shipping production frontends

Ibrahim Riaz

Frontend Engineer · AI & Agentic Engineering

React.js · Next.js · TypeScript · JavaScript

I build production interfaces for products used by tens of thousands of businesses — admin dashboards, form builders, search and filtering flows. I also build and ship products independently, using AI agents and structured agentic workflows across research, planning, implementation and iteration.

Ibrahim Riaz — Frontend Engineer

Frontend engineering, end to end.

Interface work on real products — from component architecture through to the store listing.

Product Frontends

Data-driven interfaces in React.js and TypeScript — state, data fetching, routing and the messy real-world flows behind them.

Design Systems & UI

Reusable component libraries, theming and dark mode, data tables and charts — built once, used across a whole product line.

Performance, Accessibility & Usability

Responsive, cross-browser, keyboard-usable interfaces with attention to rendering performance, accessibility and intuitive interaction.

Real-time Interfaces

Conversational and live interaction experiences designed for responsive, real-time user workflows — including live communication workflows in HelpGent.

Code & PR Review

Pull request review as part of the routine — correctness, consistency and maintainability caught before a release, not after it.

Testing & QA

End-to-end testing of large frontends once they are built — real user flows, edge cases and cross-browser regressions.

Browser Extensions

Eight Manifest V3 extensions published on the Chrome Web Store — designed, built, shipped and maintained independently.

Product Research & Planning

Product analysis, planning and scope with the teams I work in — including exploring AI-powered product opportunities.

AI & Agentic Engineering

Agentic workflows across research, planning and implementation — using subagents, AI skills, MCP and task decomposition to ship faster.

Engineering with agents in the loop.

AI agents are part of how I research, plan, build and iterate — directed, structured and reviewed. The engineering judgement stays with me.

Engineering

Agentic workflows · agent orchestration · subagents · reusable AI skills · MCP · prompt engineering · task decomposition · reviewing agent output

Product

AI-powered product research · product analysis & planning · AI-assisted prototyping · AI workflow design

Tooling

Claude Code · OpenAI Codex · Cursor

I use different agent environments depending on the task — with the same structured approach to context, decomposition, delegation and review. Agents do not ship anything on their own — I decompose the work, give them context, run subagents for specialised passes, and review every implementation.

Know what’s worth building

MIT

An open-source research framework that runs before the code. It takes one product idea through fourteen gated modules and produces a build-ready specification — or a documented reason not to build. I designed the gate model and the evidence rules, wrote the validators that fail a run when those rules are broken, and built the product landing page.

Ships as
A Claude Code plugin and a Gemini CLI extension, from one repository

Gated module pipeline · Python validators (40 structural checks) · GitHub Actions CI · an evaluation instrument that measures the framework's own claim coverage

The product landing page — hand-built, no framework, light and dark

Eight years of shipped interfaces.

Product frontends at three companies, from hand-coded marketplace templates to React and TypeScript application work.

A frontend engineer who ships.

I'm a frontend engineer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with 8+ years shipping production interfaces in React.js, TypeScript and Next.js — complex, data-driven product frontends used by tens of thousands of businesses.

What I care about is the part after the feature works: how it holds up as the product grows, on a slow connection, on a keyboard, in a browser I didn't design for.

I build my own products too — eight browser extensions live on the Chrome Web Store, with Hide Shorts & Reels at 8K+ users. Owning a product end to end is the fastest way I've found to get better at building someone else's.

Both sides run on the same AI-assisted, agentic workflow — subagents, reusable skills and MCP carrying the research and groundwork, so more of the time goes into the interface itself. I'm a WordPress Core Contributor.

Common questions.

The React.js, Next.js and TypeScript editions of HexaDash — SovWare's flagship admin dashboard template on ThemeForest — and the frontend of Directorist, a directory platform with 20k+ active installs.

Quality is part of building the feature, not a pass afterwards. I build responsive, accessible markup from the start, keep an eye on rendering performance as data volumes grow, and check that flows are usable rather than merely functional. Before a release, features go through testing and cross-browser QA, and pull request review catches correctness and consistency problems early.

As a collaborator, not autocomplete. I direct and review AI coding agents across research, planning, implementation, refactoring and debugging — decomposing work into agent-sized tasks, giving them structured context, running subagents for specialised passes, and building reusable AI skills and MCP setups so results stay consistent. Engineering judgement and code review stay with me.
